We have a special opportunity to host a trained educator from Care Impact (https://www.careimpact.ca/) to lead us in a faith-based session on understanding and caring for those who have experienced trauma, especially as children, and how we, as a Church, can better support these individuals. This event will cost $40, it is specifically for Church Staff, or ministry leaders, ideally working with kids or youth. The training event will include snacks and any material you need, and it will be hosted at Woodstock Baptist Church (785 Main St, Woodstock). It will be incredibly insightful in leading your children’s and youth ministries, and it will give you tools needed to welcome these individuals with compassion, patience and love, like Jesus. It will also be very insightful for your own personal lives and the people you interact with everyday.
