Trauma Care Training for Volunteers

When: Tuesday, June 24th @ 6:30 – 9 PM
Where: Woodstock Baptist Church – in the Gathering Room
Cost: Free

We are hosting a trained educator from Care Impact (https://www.careimpact.ca/) to lead a faith-based training session on understanding and caring for those who have experienced trauma, especially as children. This event is free to you, will include snacks and any material you need, and is highly recommended for all of WBC’s Children’s (including VBS), and Youth adult volunteers to attend (not necessary for teen-aged volunteers to attend). It will be incredibly insightful in working with kids we often label as “difficult”, and it will give you tools needed to welcome these kids with compassion, patience and love, like Jesus.
